Our names are Ellen and Uwe Siegfriedsen and
we come from North
Friesland (Nordfriesland) Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
You may ask how do two North Fresians end up in Bali, well that’s
a long story: Thailand, Malaysia, India, The Philippines and Indonesia – all
magical countries through which I (Uwe) travelled. In 1984 I finally
came to
rest in the place that I found the most beautiful and that was Bali.
Where else in this world can you find so much to impress within such
a small space? A climate like in paradise, unbelievably luscious vegetation,
tropical sea with approx. 400 km of beaches and cliff coast, volcanoes,
mountains, rice fields, temples, culture… and such lovely people.

At that time
as a connoisseur of Bali I established a little travel agency alongside
my professional activities in Germany. Many guests have been able
to realise their dream holiday on Bali and the neighbouring islands.
In my capacity as interior designer I simultaneously made use of
the exceptionally good opportunity of building dream houses. Houses
for my family, our friends and for people who prefer individual solutions
rather than high-rise dormitory hotels. In 1993 as a sort of "pioneer" I
established the hotel Alam
Anda on the northern coast.
Later the villas Nyumpené, Kura
Kura, Ambu Ambu and Lumba Lumba were
added. Very many dear and lovely guests have spent a wonderful holiday
here.
After transfering the Hotel Alam
Anda on 1st April, 2006 we
still remain in charge of both the villas Nyumpené and Kura
Kura. |
